I am really happy with this cover. The front flap can be folded back and tucked under the strap for a nice sort of backing to hold on to. Makes the kindle touch really comfortable to use.
The front is held on by an elastic strap with the red rectangle tag attached. The strap feels like high quality and will last a long time. It's pretty stiff and doesn't feel like it will give out. But only time will tell.
Had I know it was held by an elastic strap I wouldn't have gotten it, But even so now that I have it I am very happy. It's perfect!

I bought this after being a little disappointed with the look and feel of Amazon's Kindle Touch cover. So far I like the Splash Safari cover a lot.
It looks and feels very similar to the previous generation Amazon Kindle 3 cover. It has a textured leather appearance with an elastic fastener band to hold the cover either closed or folded open behind the Kindle. As with the Kindle 3 cover, I find that sliding my fingers under the band provides a convenient way to hold my Kindle for one handed reading.
The Kindle slides into an internal leather envelope with openings at the front for the screen, home button, and bottom controls. There is a concealed velcro fastener to close this envelope snugly. This arrangement works well. The Kindle is securely held in place with no wiggle room. The one down side is that the home button is now in an indent within the leather envelope. But I only use the home button occasionally and so far that has not been an issue.
It's light, at 4.5 ounces, but provides a good degree of protective padding and looks like it should do a good job of protecting my Kindle when I'm traveling.
This is pretty much the cover I had hoped to get from Amazon. And at the current discounted price ($14) it's a lot cheaper.

Just received my case last week and so far am very happy with it. It holds the Kindle Touch perfectly and lets me bend back the cover if I want. The strap will be nice when I take it with me so it doesn't flap open and get scratched. Like the bright red color. For the price, this is totally worth it! Wish I could find one for the $79 Kindle for my niece.
